- Gorilla Wood Glue is highly recommended for best results.
- Different color strips are used in photos for the applicable step.
- Finished item may vary slightly in size from the dimensions above.
- At KaGOcraft, we prefer to use centimeters for our measurements instead of inches, as it's more precise for our projects and will yield the best results in the finished item.

Materials:

-Mini colorful basket kit

 


- KaGOcraft's 13mm Craftband
- Gorilla Wood Glue
- Scissors
- Clips or Clothespins

-Mini Tool Kit

 

Prepare the Craft Band 13mm for this project

Color A: Main Color of the Basket Vitamin Orange
Color B: Accent Color Espresso

Procedure:


1.Make the base. Arrange Horizontal strips 1, 2, & 3 as shown.
Place the longest horizontal strip in the middle.
Make sure that all of the strips are centered.
Glue the Support strips along both sides as shown.


2.Turn over, and glue Vertical strips along both sides as shown.
Make sure they are centered.

3.Flip back over, and weave the remaining Vertical strips as shown.
Make sure the strips are centered.

4.Glue the Reinforcement strips along the top and bottom as shown.


5. Fold all strips upward as shown.
Take a weaving strip and place the end behind the second vertical strip
and secure with a clip or clothespin.
Weave alternately, use clothespins to help keep in place.

6.After weaving the first row cut off any excess and glue.
Make sure that the ends are hidden by the vertical strips. 




7. Repeat weaving with the remaining Weaving strips as shown, until 5 rows are completed. Gradually pull the vertical strips to tighten the gaps between the rows.



8. Make the handle of the basket using the longest Horizontal strip.
Take one end and tuck down to the bottom on the opposite side of the basket.

9. The other end should go over the handle made in Step 8
and tucked down on the outside between the Weaving strips.
Cut excess if necessary and glue the two strips together. 

10. For all of the vertical strips on the outside of the top row, fold inward.

11. Cut off excess as necessary and tuck the ends into the third row from the top.
Ends should be unseen.

12. Tuck one of the Rim strips in between the top row and the remaining vertical strips.

13. Cut off excess as necessary and tuck the ends into the third row from the top.
Ends should be unseen.

14. Using the other Rim strip, insert through every other vertical strip as shown.
Hide the end with a vertical strip.

15. This is how it looks.

16. Using the longest Bow strip, lightly fold both sides and glue as shown.

17. Wrap the second Bow strip around the center, hiding the seam.
Cut notches into one end of the remaining Bow strips and glue to the back of the bow.



Glue the bow to the basket as shown and it's done!
